In 1931, a Broadway dancer and "B" movie actress named Ginger Rogers came to Hollywood and began working for RKO Studios. A short time later, she was paired with Fred Astaire in Flying Down to Rio--they stole the show. They both appeared in ten of Hollywood's most memorable musicals, including Top Hat, Swing Time and Carefree. Miss Rogers was photographed wearing a radiant-cut pink diamond ring set in gold.
