Worn by Barbara Stanwyck in "Sorry, Wrong Number" (1948).
Barbara Stanwyck's career lasted an amazing 59 years and included both television and feature films. Although probably best remembered for her dominating role in the TV series THE BIG VALLEY, she also received four nominations for the Best Actress Academy Award. She received her first nomination for STELLA DALLAS and received another for her portrayal of a treacherous temptress in DOUBLE INDEMNITY, the Billy Wilder classic. Perhaps her last great performance was in SORRY, WRONG NUMBER in which she plays the intended victim of a murder plot. In a publicity photo Ms. Stanwyck wore a beautiful champagne diamond ring with all the trimmings.
