In the 1938 film, Jezebel, Bette Davis gives one of her best known and loved performances as a strong-willed Southern Belle about to marry Henry Fonda.  She was awarded an Academy Award.  In the movie, Ms Davis wore a brilliant pink diamond ring that was the envy of all.
