Greta Garbo was from Sweden, like Ingrid Bergman.  Greta began in silent films and transitioned to "talkies" smoothly.  Her first, Anna Christie, earned her an Academy Award nomination.  At the end of her career, she performed her most difficult role...she disappeared, saying, "I want to be left alone."  This ring is from one of her many publicity photos.
