Betty Grable was born in 1916 and her mother brought her to Hollywood.  She danced in movie musicals at the age of 14.  She had "million dollar legs" and was a famous pin-up girl.  She starred in Down Argentine Way, Tin Pan Alley, Moon Over Miami, Springtime In the Rockies and The Dolly Sisters.  In a publicity photo, she wore this dazzling olive-emerald and diamond ring.
