From age 24 to age 58, Claudette Colbert was one of the screens' brightest ornaments.  She was a skillful comedienne, but she could go dramatic.  In 1934, she won her one and only Academy Award for It Happened One Night.  In the film, Honor Among Lovers, playing opposite Fredric March, she is seen wearing an exquisite canary and diamond ring.
