While playing baseball on the street in LA, 12-year old Carole Lombard was spotted and offered a film contract.  She went on to become one of our best and most versatile actresses, starring alongside actors such as William Powell and Clark Gable, whom she later married in 1939.  Unfortunately, Ms Lombard died in an untimely plane crash, but she wore this ring in Swing High, Swing Low with Fred MacMurray in 1937 before that happened.
