The 1942 comedy, To Be Or Not To Be, shocked audiences who felt it poked fun at the Nazi invasion of Poland...in retrospect, it was just brilliant satire...also starred Jack Benny.  Sadly, it was to be Ms. Lombard's last movie.  In the film's opening scene, she is wearing a pair of beautiful canary earrings.
