Born in St. Louis in 1916, Betty Grable was best known as WW II's most pinned up pin-up.  Her luxurious legs brightened a number of successful light musicals and dramas in the 1940's.  In The Beautiful Blonde from Bashful Bend, Miss Grable played a pistol-packing saloon gal.  In this film, she wore a beautiful amethyst and diamond ring.
