Ruth Elizabeth Davis was born in 1908 in Lowell, MA.  After a brief stint on Broadway, she arrived in Hollywood and became one of the most honored actresses in film history.  She won the Best Actress Oscar for Dangerous and Jezebel, and was nominated a record 5 years in a row.  One of them was for her performance in Now Voyager, in which she wore a stunning diamond ring.  Bette Davis!!
