Worn by Jean Harlow in a publicity photo.
It is said that Jean Harlow was the first real sex symbol. Her gorgeous platinum blonde hair and stunning figure set the standard for all wannabe's including Marilyn Monroe. Marilyn publicly acknowledged her love for Harlow and did her best to follow in her footsteps. In her brief career Ms. Harlow managed to star in a number of wonderful films including PLATINUM BLONDE (1931), RED DUST (1932) and the hilarious comedy DINNER AT EIGHT (1933). It was during the filming of SARATOGA (1937) that she became ill and tragically passed away. Jean Harlow was photographed constantly and was seen wearing these beautiful earrings in a publicity shot.
