Jean Harlow was Hollywood's original platinum blonde bombshell. Her brilliant career ended tragically in 1937 when she fell ill during the final week of shooting the film, Saratoga, and died before the film was completed. With co-star Clark Gable, Ms Harlow is seen in the film wearing an emerald and diamond ring.
