In 1948, Marilyn Monroe's first co-starring role was a low budget film entitled Ladies of the Chorus, shot in just 11 days. In it, Ms Monroe sang Every Baby Needs a Da Da Daddy...the director mentioned "she shows promise". She went on to make classics such as Gentlemen Prefer Blondes, How To Marry a Millionaire and Some Like It Hot. In the "Chorus" film, Marilyn wore a pair of stunning diamond earrings set in gold.
